So does Bone smashing work?
Short answer…Yes
(Based on MY experience I saw a noticeable pump within 5 minutes)
Process of bonesmashing mandible:
In your mandible (the mandible angle and chin [Mental Protuberance]) the layer of tissue between the skin and bone is thin, constant “smashing” causes blood to stay trapped in that specific spot, giving it that “pumped” look which’s actually a hematoma (a kind of swelling.)
Process of bonesmashing zygos:
The swelling process is similar to the mandible
But because zygos are literally skin to bone, repeated pressure crushes the thin layer of skin and fascia (connective tissue) causing instant and localized edema (type of swelling) which is why you see that pump even after 5 minutes. While the Zygomatic arch itself is a strong structure, it’s still vulnerable to damage due to its position.
Read the anatomy of you wanna know more about the position:

Risks in the maxilla:
Aside from obvious minimal damages like bruising and swelling, longterm, there was many studies I found claiming multiple long term risks cause by intense high pressure similar to bonesmashing, I’m not researching all those studies so take that as a sign to NOT bonesmash longterm. I’ve also seen this one guy whos been bonesmashing for a long time and he has vision problems as well as colored bruising that WONT go away.
Risks In the mandible:
If you’re bonesmashing your mandible before going out to a party or something then that’s fine, do NOT bonesmash your mandible so often. The mandible has many blood vessels and doing so is like you’re slowly giving yourself brain damage.
Misconceptions I guess:
Source(s) claims that damage coming from bonesmashing while still growing can stunt bone growth, other sources correlating to mandible damage also support this claim. This isn’t true because damage causing stunt growth in the mandible doesn’t compare to damage caused by bonesmashing.
“Wolfs law:”
Looksmaxxers claim that wolfs law is the practice that hitting your cranial facial bones with a hard object like a hammer will cause microfractions to which when grown back, comes back with more bone mass.
REAL wolfs law:
If you want stronger bones, you have to work those muscles to which your body will naturally accommodate to keep working on more efficiently hence making your bone stronger.
Wolfs law Example:

You can tell this tennis player is twisting his arm in an intense way, constantly having to make that move naturally strengths the muscles making the bone he’s using become stronger. Nothings processed the same way as bonesmashing.
When and how to Bonesmash:
Bonesmashing is temporary and after the research I’ve done, I think it’s unnecessary unless you’re doing it before going out, so that’s the when. muh muh use a hard surface you’re most comfortable with muh, some face cream for protection muh, bit of makeup for bruises muh muh muh go for 5-10 mins muh u can also bonesmash browridge muh….
