This is going to be the first of a series of threads about evolutionary biology and what it teaches us about dating and female nature.
By reading it you will understand female nature (and human nature in general) better than 99% of blackpillers
The book revolves around the idea that organism are simply survival machines for genes
This single shift reframes literally everything blackpillers talk about:
Why women select for height, jaw, frame → genes building better survival machines
Why men compete violently for status → genes maximising replication odds
Why "love" feels transcendent but maps perfectly onto fertility windows → genes hijacking your reward system to get themselves copied
Why nobody actually acts how they say they act → conscious preferences are downstream of genetic strategy, not upstream
Without understanding the selfish gene, all you are doing is observing without understanding the mechanism (or coming to completly incorrect conclusions, cough cough rehab room)

The truth about hypergamy: Hypergamy isnt a modern phenomenon its as old as life itself, where the higher investing sex (females, due to egg cost + gestation) is selected to be choosier.
Why looks dominate so heavily: Phenotype is the honest signal of genotype. Symmetry, jaw, height, are all costly to fake and all correlate with developmental stability and mutation load. Female preferences track these because the genes that built those preferences outreproduced the genes that didnt.
Why provision (providing resources, money) doesnt generate attraction: Provision is a behavioural trait which can be easily faked and easily extracted. Genetic quality cant be faked. The female psychological architecture evolved to distinguish between the two and respond differently.
Why male competition is so brutal: In a polygynous selection environment (which humans were for most of our history), a small minority of males did most of the reproducing. The genes that lost simply arent here. You are descended from winners, and so is every guy your competing with.
But it goes even further than just individuals
In the book dawkins introduces the concept of the extended phenotype: The idea that genes dont just build bodies but are what cause behaviours, enviroments, and social structures.
The beavers dam is an extension of the beaver phenotype, human civilisation is just an extension of the human phenotype (which is of course, caused by genes)
Dating apps, social hierachies, monogamy norms are all downstream of the interests of our genes. They are just the extended phenotype of our genes strategies.
This might seem like water to some of you, but i will go into more depth in my next few threads about how we can leverage this information to win.
