I came up with the idea of making my own palatal expander this week, since I know my parents won’t get me one. Buying one myself is too expensive, and I don’t think my parents would let me. 

Obviously I’m not drilling screws into my skull but instead im making a removable expander which i can use whenever i want

I am really trying to widen my palate but of course, like always, there are some problems. My biggest issue is that the materials I need are coming from eBay sellers in Greater China, so delivery takes over a month. Before they arrive, I’ll already be leaving for vacation for a few weeks. I’m planning to order the materials about a week before I return home. Because of that, making the palatal expander will probably be delayed by around two and a half months. Also, if you saw my first post about pliers pulling, my pliers broke. I thought i was escaping narrowcel hell after this summer
